Indigo Star is the stage name of the Leeds based Bolivian singer, songwriter and producer, Isabella Rojas. With a passion for making music that moves people, Isabella combines elements of RnB, latino and pop genres to create her own unique, exciting and diverse sound. Indigo Star strives to create music that resonates with her life and her listeners, to create an environment where creativity and community are encouraged. Isabella started singing when she was 9 years old and moved to the UK at the age of 20 to pursue her dreams as a musician. She’s currently studying a degree in Music Performance at Leeds Arts University and often performs at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen along with her peers. Daughter of a Brazilian mother and Bolivian father, Isabella grew up listening to genres like rock, bossa nova, cumbia, and jazz. Her background and upbringing inspired Indigo Star to find herself in different styles and sounds, making her music more interesting and unique.
